About this product

Trident Hierbabuena is sugar-free spearmint chewing gum sold in a 14.5 g box under the Trident brand, with the label printed in Spanish and Portuguese.[1] The 2020 label sweetens it with sorbitol, isomalt, maltitols, aspartame, sucralose and acesulfame K, gives 160 kcal per 100 g and holds 10 pieces.[1] An earlier dragée label photographed in 2017 wrote its additives as E-numbers, added calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide and BHT, and gave 155 kcal.[2] American Chicle introduced Trident in 1960, and the brand belonged to Mondelēz International from 2012.[3] Perfetti Van Melle took over Mondelēz's European gum business, Trident included, on 2 October 2023; the Portuguese part waited for regulatory approval.[4]

Coverage measures the evidence recorded here. It does not rate the product.

  • Identity: 3 / 3 · Name, brand and classification recorded

  • Spanish and Portuguese side panel, 10 pieces: nutrient evidence: 8 / 8 · Recorded nutrient rows linked to a source; not the number of nutrients that ought to exist
  • Spanish and Portuguese dragée label with E-numbers: nutrient evidence: 8 / 8 · Recorded nutrient rows linked to a source; not the number of nutrients that ought to exist
  • relationships · unknown: The photographed panels do not show a manufacturer, food business operator or address, and nothing names the GS1 licensee of EAN-8 84164452 (issued through GS1 Spain, prefix 841). So there is no manufactured_by, food_business_operator or gs1_prefix_owner edge. The old page's "Cadbury España S.L." came from the prefix and is not evidence.
  • markets · stale: Newest label evidence is the 2021-01-31 front photo. A Spanish wholesaler listing with this barcode in the URL ("Trident Dragee Spearmint 14g") refused the server fetch (empty body, then HTTP 403), so current sale and price are unconfirmed.
