Trident

About

Trident is a brand of sugar-free chewing gum. American Chicle introduced it in 1960, and it then passed through Warner-Lambert, Pfizer's Adams, Cadbury Schweppes and Kraft Foods before becoming part of Mondelēz International in 2012.^[1] It is sold in more than 70 countries, sometimes under other names such as Stimorol, Hollywood or Dirol.^[1] Perfetti Van Melle closed its acquisition of Mondelēz's gum business in the United States, Canada and Europe, Trident included, on 2 October 2023.^[2]
