Gum base

About

Gum base is the insoluble chewable matrix of chewing gum, declared on labels as a single compound ingredient rather than by its components. It is the second-declared ingredient of Wrigley's Extra peppermint sugarfree gum sold in Australia and New Zealand, which names it simply "gum base".[1] No source read here breaks the base of this product down further, so its composition is not recorded.
