Tree gum tapped mainly from Senegalia senegal and Vachellia seyal, a water-soluble mixture of glycoproteins and polysaccharides used as the food additive E414.[1] The Italian Morositas Berry label declares it as a thickener on its 2018 revision and as a gelling agent on the 2020 one.[2]
