Mountain Dew Code Red is the cherry-flavoured extension of PepsiCo's Mountain Dew, and this barcode is its 20 fl oz single-serve bottle for the United States.[2] PepsiCo launched Code Red in stores in May 2001, the first large-scale departure from the brand's flagship citrus flavour, and it lifted overall Mountain Dew sales by six per cent in its first year.[3] USDA Branded Foods carries a GDSN record for this exact GTIN, naming Pepsico Inc. as brand owner and holding the label ingredient statement, while PepsiCo's own product facts site publishes a page keyed to the same number, giving 91 mg of caffeine and 80 mg of phosphorus for the bottle.[4][2] The pack is still on shelves: a Wisconsin grocery lists it at USD 2.69 with the UPC as its SKU.[1]
