About this product
Haribo Goldbären are the original fruit gum bears, sold here in a 75 g gold pocket bag with a viewing window and the line "Für unterwegs".[3] The bag carries one German-language label serving three markets, headed by D, A and CH badges, and the barcode is legible in the same photograph that shows them, which is what ties this label to this article.[2] The bears are made with glucose syrup, sugar, gelatine and six fruit juices from concentrate, coloured with fruit and plant concentrates rather than artificial colours, and the pack says so in a green roundel on the front.[2][4] Haribo GmbH & Co. KG of Bonn is the only company named on the pack.[2]
More about this product
The German panel has been photographed twice, in June 2024 and February 2025, with identical values, and the maker's own product page publishes the same table.[5][6] Fat is printed as a bound rather than a figure, which this entry now records as such instead of as a flat number. The pack states only that the sweets are made in the EU; a German retailer's mandatory-information block gives Germany as the country of origin and names the producer's Bonn address.[2][1]
This review also found that one photograph filed under this barcode belongs to a different product: a blue French and Belgian wrapper for flavoured confectionery containing skimmed milk, palm oil, cocoa powder and hazelnuts, none of which is in Goldbären.[7] A second file offered as the French nutrition photo is really the German panel.[8] No French label is recorded here on that basis. Seven dictionary links to Wikipedia articles on glucose syrup, gelatin, juice, sunflower oil, food colouring, elderberry and beeswax were dropped as well: they explained ingredients rather than evidencing this product.[8]
