About

Haribo's flagship line of fruit gum bears in six flavours, listed on the German brand site in 75 g, 100 g, 175 g, 250 g, 450 g and 1 kg packs.[1] The line descends from the "Tanzbären" that Hans Riegel developed in 1922; the smaller, rounder Goldbären replaced them in the 1960s, were sold in bags from 1961 and were registered as a trademark in 1967.[2][3] Wikipedia records that Haribo has used the Goldbären name since 1960 and that the bears account for the company's largest revenue share.[4]
