About this product

Post Fruity Pebbles 40 oz is a 1.13 kg box of Fruity Pebbles, the sweetened, fruit-flavoured crisp rice cereal sold under the Post brand, packed as two bags inside one carton; Post Consumer Brands is named as brand owner in its USDA Branded Foods record.[2][3] The label filed with USDA lists rice, sugar and canola oil, coloured with Red 40, Yellow 5 and 6, Blue 1 and 2 and turmeric oleoresin, preserved with BHT and BHA and fortified with eleven vitamins and minerals, on a 36 g (1 cup) serving.[2] An earlier box, photographed in 2021, carried a 3/4 cup serving of 110 calories and a recipe made with hydrogenated coconut and palm kernel oils, and is marked gluten free.[3][4] The online shop buync.com sells it under this UPC.[1]

Fruity Pebbles was first sold on the US West Coast in 1969 as Pebbles and took its present name with national distribution in 1971.[5] Post's current Fruity Pebbles page lists sizes from 11 oz to a 38 oz club pack.[6]
