Post Fruity Pebbles 27.5 oz is the Mega Size box of Fruity Pebbles, the sweetened rice cereal with natural and artificial fruit flavor that Post introduced on the US West Coast in 1969 and nationally in October 1971.[2] The box holds 27.5 oz (779 g), about 22 one-cup servings, and its panel prints 140 calories and 12 g of added sugars per 1 cup (36 g).[3] Post's Fruity Pebbles page lists the 27.5 oz box among the current sizes.[4] The side panel names Post Consumer Brands, LLC of Lakeville, Minnesota, and carries a gluten-free statement.[1] The current list gives canola and/or soybean oil and BHT alone as preservative.[3][4]

The 2021 photograph of the same box lists canola oil, Blue 2, and BHT and BHA added to preserve freshness.[1] USDA's label record, last modified in 2023, already gives canola and/or soybean oil without Blue 2 but still names BHT and BHA.[5]
