Louis Hachette Group is the French holding company that carries the publishing, travel retail and magazine businesses Vivendi spun off in 2024, and it is the listed company at the top of the Hachette chain: its parent-company accounts at 31 December 2025 show it holding 66.29 per cent of Lagardère SA and all of Prisma Group SAS.^[1] Its own reporting is split between the Lagardère Publishing and Lagardère Travel Retail divisions.^[2] The French register records it under SIREN 808946305, created on 14 January 2015, legal category 5599 (société anonyme à conseil d'administration), principal activity NAF 64.20Z, holding company activities, with its seat at 4 rue de Presbourg, 75116 Paris.^[3] GLEIF holds LEI 969500CV8XQ2XKU2DO25 for the same entity, registered as 808946305 in Paris and active.^[4] Its shares have traded on Euronext Growth Paris under ISIN FR001400TL40 since 16 December 2024, and the share capital is €198,399,298.80, divided into 991,996,494 shares of €0.20 nominal.^[1][5]

No company owns it outright. It was a Vivendi SE subsidiary — GLEIF dates the direct-consolidation relationship from 14 January 2015 — until the partial demerger of Vivendi put the Lagardère and Prisma holdings into it and its shares were admitted to Euronext Growth Paris on 16 December 2024.^[6][1][7] Since then the reference shareholder has been the Bolloré group: at 31 December 2025 Bolloré SE held 301,869,191 shares and Compagnie de l'Odet SE 5,995,559, together 307,864,750 shares or 31.03 per cent of the capital, the rest being free float.^[1] Above Bolloré SE, GLEIF records Bolloré Participations SE (LEI 9695009YHLBEVMOOCF13, SIREN 352730394, seat at Odet in Ergué-Gabéric) as the ultimate consolidating parent of this company, and Bolloré Participations files no parent of its own but a reporting exception whose reason is that its owners are natural persons; Wikipedia describes Louis Hachette Group as controlled by Vincent Bolloré and his family.^[8][9] Yannick Bolloré and Arnaud Lagardère sit on the board and Jean-Christophe Thiery is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.^[3][5] Companies House records Louis Hachette Group SA as a person with significant control of Little, Brown Book Group Limited, notified on 16 December 2024, with more than 50% but less than 75% of the shares.^[10]

One thing is unresolved here. GLEIF still publishes the direct-consolidation relationship to Vivendi SE as active, on a June 2024 filing covering the 2023 accounts, which is a year before the demerger, so the Vivendi ownership row carries an end date taken from the listing rather than from the registry, and nothing reachable from here restates either consolidation chain on post-demerger accounts.
