Bolloré SE is the French industrial and media group registered at Odet in Ergué-Gabéric, Finistère, under SIREN 055804124 and LEI 969500LEKCHH6VV86P94; the register dates the legal entity to 1 January 1955 and gives its principal activity as NAF 22.21Z, manufacture of plastic plates, sheets, tubes and profiles, which is the film business the group grew out of.[1][2] Above it sits Compagnie de l'Odet, the listed family holding company that held 71.6 per cent of its capital, directly and indirectly, at 31 December 2025.[3] Wikipedia dates the business itself to 1822, in fine paper and cigarette paper, and traces its diversification into freight transport, oil storage, batteries, access control and, from the 2000s, advertising and media.[4]
Wikipedia records the sale of Bolloré Transport & Logistics in 2024 and the split of Vivendi that Bolloré organised after it.[4] Compagnie de l'Odet's 2025 annual report sets out what the group holds today: 30.4 per cent of Canal+, of Havas NV and of Louis Hachette Group, 29.3 per cent of Vivendi SE and 18.4 per cent of Universal Music Group, alongside the oil-logistics business Bolloré Energy and the ultrathin-film business.[5] It is on this site as the principal shareholder of Louis Hachette Group: at 31 December 2025 Bolloré SE held 301,869,191 of that company's 991,996,494 shares, with a further 5,995,559 held by Compagnie de l'Odet SE, 31.03 per cent of the capital between them.[6] GLEIF records the two steps above Bolloré SE as accounting consolidation: Compagnie de l'Odet (LEI 9695005PEG4IL375U849, SIREN 056801046) the direct parent, Bolloré Participations SE the ultimate one.[7][8]
