Compagnie de l'Odet is the listed Breton holding company one step above Bolloré SE: at 31 December 2025 it held 71.6 per cent of that company's capital, directly and indirectly.^[1] The French register records it at Odet in Ergué-Gabéric, Finistère, under SIREN 056801046, created on 1 January 1956, legal category 5800, société européenne, with its principal activity as NAF 64.20Z, activities of holding companies; GLEIF holds LEI 9695005PEG4IL375U849 for it, active and registered as 056801046.^[2][3] It has been called Compagnie de l'Odet since its 2021 general meeting, when it dropped the name Financière de l'Odet, and its shares trade in Paris under the new name.^[4]

Its own capital sits almost entirely inside the group. At 31 December 2025, of 6,567,585 shares, Sofibol held 3,694,870 or 56.26 per cent, other group companies 1.26 per cent and the companies holding treasury shares — Compagnie du Cambodge at 19.18 per cent, Société Industrielle et Financière de l'Artois at 5.65 per cent, Imperial Mediterranean at 5.98 per cent, Financière Moncey at 5.02 per cent and Société Bordelaise Africaine — 35.83 per cent together, leaving 6.65 per cent with the public; the report describes Sofibol as indirectly controlled by Bolloré Participations SE, the Bolloré family holding company.^[5] GLEIF, which records accounting consolidation rather than shareholdings, names Bolloré Participations SE both the direct and the ultimate consolidating parent of Compagnie de l'Odet.^[6][7] Through Bolloré SE the group holds 30.4 per cent of Canal+, of Havas NV and of Louis Hachette Group, 29.3 per cent of Vivendi SE and 18.4 per cent of Universal Music Group.^[5]
