Bolloré Participations SE is the holding company through which the Bolloré family sits at the top of the Bolloré group, and no company sits above it: GLEIF records both its direct and its ultimate accounting consolidation parent as natural persons rather than a legal entity.^[1][2] The French register records it under SIREN 352730394, created on 16 October 1989, a societas europaea whose principal activity is NAF 70.10Z, activities of head offices, with its seat at Odet in Ergué-Gabéric, Finistère — the same address as Bolloré SE, which is a different company.^[3] GLEIF holds LEI 9695009YHLBEVMOOCF13 for it, active and validated against that SIREN, and names it the ultimate consolidating parent on the LEI records of Louis Hachette Group and of Bolloré SE.^[4][5][6]

It is where the walk up the Hachette chain stops. Bolloré Participations files no parent of its own with GLEIF; instead it files a reporting exception in the category DIRECT_ACCOUNTING_CONSOLIDATION_PARENT with the reason NATURAL_PERSONS, which is the registry's way of recording that the people above it are individuals rather than a company, and the same reason against ULTIMATE_ACCOUNTING_CONSOLIDATION_PARENT.^[1][2] Those individuals sit on its board: the register gives Vincent Bolloré as chairman of the board of directors, with Cyrille, Marie, Sébastien and Yannick Bolloré and Cédric de Bailliencourt among the directors, and the only legal persons on the list are its two statutory auditors.^[3] GLEIF puts eight LEI records directly under it, among them the cascade of holding companies through which control of the listed group runs — Financière V, Omnium Bolloré, Sofibol and Compagnie de l'Odet — together with Studiocanal, Hachette Partworks Limited, Studio+ and the Portuguese holding Centenary SGPS.^[7] The register's accounts summary gives the company revenue of 3.13 billion euros and a net result of 1.76 billion euros for 2024.^[3]
