Little, Brown and Company is an American publishing company founded in Boston in 1837 by Charles Coffin Little and James Brown.^[1] Time Inc. bought it in 1968, it became part of Time Warner Book Group, and since 2006 it has been a division of Hachette Book Group.^[1]
