Hodder & Stoughton is a British publishing house formed in 1868 when Thomas Wilberforce Stoughton joined Matthew Hodder's firm, and is now part of Hachette.[1] The company Hodder & Stoughton Limited (Companies House 00651692) is registered at Carmelite House, London, and is majority-owned by Hachette UK Limited.[2] It has published the Teach Yourself series since 1966.[3]
