Post Fruity Pebbles 40 oz is a 1.13 kg bag of Fruity Pebbles, the sweetened, fruit-flavoured crisp rice cereal sold under the Post brand, with Post Consumer Brands named as brand owner in its USDA Branded Foods record.[2] The filed label lists rice, sugar and hydrogenated coconut and palm kernel oils, coloured with Red 40, Yellow 5 and 6, Blue 1 and 2 and turmeric oleoresin, and fortified with eleven vitamins and minerals; it declares 407 kcal and 33 g of sugars per 100 g on a 27 g (3/4 cup) serving.[2] Amazon.com has sold the bag in a pack of three.[1] Post's Fruity Pebbles page lists 11 to 38 oz sizes and no 40 oz article, and prints a newer recipe made with canola and/or soybean oil and BHT.[3]

Fruity Pebbles was first sold on the US West Coast in 1969 as Pebbles and took its present name with national distribution in 1971.[4]
