Bubblicious Ultimate Original is a tutti-frutti bubble gum sold in a 38 g wrapper of five individually wrapped pieces.[2][3] The brand was launched in 1977 by the American Chicle division of Warner-Lambert and later belonged to Mondelez International, which announced in December 2022 that it would sell Bubblicious with the rest of its developed-market gum business to Perfetti Van Melle Group.[4][5] This barcode is a Danish-prefix export pack: one back panel carries French, Dutch, German and Scandinavian text, each block preceded by oval badges for the countries it serves, and the top edge prints Danish, Swedish and Norwegian consumer-service numbers.[1][2] Belgian and Dutch shops have listed the article under this barcode.[6][7]

The label transcribed here colours the gum with carmine, titanium dioxide and riboflavin. The European Union withdrew the authorisation for titanium dioxide (E171) as a food additive with effect from 7 February 2022 after a six-month grace period, so this recipe can no longer be sold in the European Union and the current Benelux formulation has not been read.[8] The Benelux operator block gives an address at Stationsstraat 100 in 2800 Mechelen, the registered seat of Mondelez Belgium, although the company name itself is out of focus in every available photo.[3][9] Open Food Facts files the record under France, but the pack's French block is badged for Belgium and Switzerland and no French listing of this barcode was found, so France is not recorded as a market.[10] A 2008 Barcodepedia entry described the same product and the same pack of five.[11]
