Post Fruity Pebbles 36 oz is the Super Value resealable bag of Fruity Pebbles, the fruit-flavoured sweetened crisp rice cereal Post has sold in the United States since 1971.[2] Post's own product page lists the 36 oz Bag among the cereal's current sizes and prints 140 calories, 190 mg of sodium and 12 g of added sugars per 1 cup (36 g) serving.[1] The front is marked gluten free and the cereal is packed in a resealable Zip-Pak bag reading NET WT 36 OZ (2 LB 4 OZ) 1.02 kg.[3] USDA's Branded Foods record for this barcode names Post Consumer Brands, LLC as brand owner and lists rice, sugar and canola oil as the first ingredients.[4]

The photographed bag carries an older label whose front callout is headed "per 3/4 cup serving", while Post's current product page and the 2020 USDA record both declare a 1 cup (36 g) serving; the current maker list reads "Canola and/or Soybean Oil" and no longer names the Blue 2 and BHA that the 2020 record still carries.[1][4] An earlier recipe typed on Open Food Facts used hydrogenated coconut and palm kernel oils in place of the vegetable oil.[5] The cereal reached shops on the US West Coast in 1969 as Pebbles and took the Fruity Pebbles name at national launch in 1971.[2]
