Mountain Dew 16 fl oz is a single 473 mL can of PepsiCo's citrus soft drink for the United States, sold under UPC 012000027215.[1] PepsiCo's SmartLabel for this UPC names PepsiCo, Inc. of Purchase, New York, as distributor and gives 230 calories, 62 g of added sugars and 72 mg of caffeine per can, from a twelve-ingredient statement sweetened with high fructose corn syrup and coloured with Yellow 5.[2][3] A can photographed for Open Food Facts in 2021 shows the same per-can panel.[4] PepsiCo sells it to the trade twelve cans to a case.[5] The drink was created in Tennessee in the 1940s and has been a Pepsi-Cola brand since 1964.[6]
