About this product

Mountain Dew 20 fl oz is the single 591 mL plastic bottle of PepsiCo's citrus soft drink for the United States, sold under UPC 012000001314 and distributed by PepsiCo, Inc. of Purchase, New York.[1][2] PepsiCo's SmartLabel gives 290 calories, 77 g of added sugars and 91 mg of caffeine per bottle, from a twelve-ingredient statement of high fructose corn syrup, concentrated orange juice and additives ending in Yellow 5.[3][4] Fourteen dated SmartLabel revisions since 2022 show the bottle in several designs: a "Mtn Dew" Call of Duty promotion in 2022, the full "Mountain Dew" name with "est. 1948" in 2025 and, from August 2026, an "American Dew" bottle under stars and stripes.[5][6][1] The drink has been a Pepsi-Cola brand since 1964.[7]

PepsiCo's product facts page files the bottle among the line's single-serve sizes from 7.5 to 67 fl oz, and its wholesale site sells it in cases of 24.[8][2] The 2007 Barcodepedia entry, taken from upcdatabase.com, already recorded this UPC as a single 20 oz bottle.[9] Amazon.com's listing prints the same UPC, though its attribute list still names brominated vegetable oil, an emulsifier Wikipedia says left the American recipe by 2020 and which PepsiCo's statements for this bottle since 2022 do not carry.[10][7][11] Company prefix 0012000 is PepsiCo's own: GS1's list of GDSN trading partners gives PepsiCo the global location number 0012000000010.[12]
