Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi 355 mL is the single aluminium can of caffeine-free Diet Pepsi sold in Canada. Diet Pepsi is PepsiCo's sugar-free cola, and its caffeine-free version, introduced in 1982, was the line's first variant.[2] The can has a bilingual English and French label and names PepsiCo Canada of Mississauga, Ontario. It also states that the Pepsi trademarks belong to PepsiCo, Inc. and are used under licence.[3] The drink is sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium and preserved with sodium benzoate. The label gives 0 calories, 0 g of sugars and 45 mg of sodium per can.[1] Canteen Canada, an office refreshment supplier, lists the 355 mL can.[4]
Cans photographed in 2018 and 2020 carry the lowercase "caffeine free / sans caféine diet pepsi diète" design with the Pepsi globe.[5][3] Their ingredient list gives caramel colour second, states the aspartame (124 mg) and acesulfame potassium (32 mg) per 355 mL and ends with dimethylpolysiloxane, and their table gives 25 mg of sodium.[3] The can photographed in 2024 carries the newer Pepsi logo with "DIET CAFFEINE FREE / DIÈTE SANS CAFÉINE". On that can, caramel moves near the end of the list, dimethylpolysiloxane is gone and the table is per can, adding potassium and iron.[1] Canadian grocers sell the 12 × 355 mL pack under its own barcode.[6][7]
