Diet Pepsi is PepsiCo's sugar-free cola line, test marketed in the United States as Patio Diet Cola in 1963 and launched nationally under its present name the following year, the first diet cola distributed across the country; it is sold as Pepsi Light in several markets.[1] The line spans plain Diet Pepsi, Diet Pepsi Wild Cherry and the caffeine-free formulation this product belongs to, which PepsiCo lists in 12, 16, 16.9, 20, 24 and 67 fl oz packages.[2]
