Diet Pepsi 2 L is the two-litre plastic bottle of Diet Pepsi sold in Canada, the sugar-free cola PepsiCo test marketed as Patio Diet Cola in 1963 and renamed Diet Pepsi the following year.[2] Its bilingual label, with an English "diet pepsi" front and a French "pepsi diète" front, names PepsiCo Canada ULC of Mississauga, Ontario.[3] The Canadian recipe is sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium and preserved with sodium benzoate, and the label gives 0 calories and 35 mg of caffeine per 355 mL.[3] Metro listed the bottle for Quebec under this UPC in a 2018 promotion, and Metro, Super C, Food Basics and Shoppers Drug Mart carry product pages for it.[1][4][5][6][7]
