About this product
Diet Pepsi 355 mL is the single aluminium can of Diet Pepsi sold in Canada, the sugar-free cola PepsiCo test marketed as Patio Diet Cola in 1963 and renamed Diet Pepsi the following year.[2] Its bilingual English and French label names PepsiCo Canada ULC of Mississauga, Ontario, states that the Pepsi trademarks belong to PepsiCo, Inc. and reads "Proudly bottled in Canada".[3] The Canadian recipe is sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium and preserved with sodium benzoate, and the label gives 0 calories and 35 mg of caffeine per can.[4][3] A Canadian shop lists the can under this UPC.[1]
Cans photographed from 2019 to 2022 carry the lowercase "diet pepsi diète" design with the Pepsi globe and give 25 mg of sodium per 355 mL.[4][5] The can photographed in 2025 carries the newer Pepsi logo with "DIET / DIÈTE", and its Nutrition Facts table, now per can, gives 45 mg of sodium, 20 mg of potassium and 0.1 mg of iron.[3]
