Diet Pepsi 24 × 12 fl oz cans is the 24-can "cube" case of PepsiCo's sugar-free cola, which PepsiCo sells to United States trade customers as SKU 166188, Diet Pepsi 12oz Can, 24 Per Case (Cube).[1] The carton's Nutrition Facts panel gives 24 servings of 12 fl oz (360 mL), each with 0 calories, 0 g sugars and 35 mg sodium.[2] Its ingredient list, as reproduced on Amazon.com, is carbonated water, caramel color, aspartame, phosphoric acid, potassium benzoate, caffeine, citric acid, natural flavor and acesulfame potassium.[3] The front of the case reads "Classic Diet Pepsi Taste".[2]
Diet Pepsi was test marketed as Patio in 1963 and relaunched the following year as the first diet cola distributed nationally in the United States.[4] PepsiCo moved it to sucralose in August 2015 and returned it to aspartame across the market on 25 February 2018.[4]
