Schwarz Unternehmenstreuhand KG is the Neckarsulm partnership in which the voting rights of the Schwarz group are bundled, so that its general partner acts as head of the whole group of Lidl, Kaufland, Schwarz Produktion, PreZero and Schwarz Digits.[1] Its limited partners are four natural persons, whom the German Wikipedia article describes as a de facto supervisory board, together with one company, the Dieter Schwarz TV-Vermögensverwaltung GmbH of Neckarsulm, which the register notices on that company's own entry record as a Kommanditist of this KG.[1][2] The KG is in turn a limited partner of the D. Schwarz Beteiligungs-KG, the partnership that holds the group's stakes and stands above SB Lidl KG and Lidl Stiftung & Co. KG.[1]
In company-law terms the Schwarz group is not a Konzern: its five operating groups are sister companies rather than subsidiaries of one another, and no group balance sheet is drawn up.[1] The KG is entered at the Amtsgericht Stuttgart under HRA 103933, with the Schwarz Geschäftsführungsgesellschaft mbH recorded as general partner since 30 July 2007.[3] The Dieter Schwarz TV-Vermögensverwaltung GmbH, entered at the same court under HRB 108457 with the management of assets and the general partnership in limited partnerships as its registered object, held that general partnership in this KG in 2006 before giving it up, and the notices of 2010, 2011, 2019, 2022, 2024 and 21 July 2026 name it as a limited partner.[2] The group's capital runs by another route: the Rosint GmbH and the Zeha GmbH of St. Gallen, whose shares are held by the charitable Dieter Schwarz Stiftung für Kunst & Kultur and Dieter Schwarz Stiftung für Wissenschaft und Forschung, are limited partners of the D. Schwarz Beteiligungs-KG beside this KG rather than partners in it.[1]
