About Kaufland International Erste
Kaufland International Erste GmbH is a company of the Kaufland retail group, registered at Rötelstraße 35 in Neckarsulm and entered at the Amtsgericht Stuttgart under HRB 724837.[1][2] Its registered object is trade in food and non-food goods at home and abroad and the management of, holding of stakes in and financing of companies in that trade.[1] It is the limited partner of Kaufland Hrvatska k.d., the company that runs Kaufland in Croatia.[3] In the GLEIF record it is consolidated by Kaufland Stiftung & Co. KG, the German parent of the Kaufland chain within the Schwarz group.[2][4]
In October 2024 it absorbed Kaufland Kroatien Warenhandel GmbH by merger, and the register notices of 31 October 2024 record a share capital of EUR 1 billion, followed by a capital reduction entered in November 2025.[1]
