About this product
Nothing Is Sound is the fifth studio album by the American alternative rock band Switchfoot, released by Columbia Records on 13 September 2005; it debuted at number three on the Billboard 200.[2] This barcode is the US CD, catalogue number CK 94581, with 12 tracks produced by John Fields and Switchfoot.[3][4] The disc carries Sony BMG's Extended Copy Protection (XCP), which installed rootkit software on Windows computers; the Electronic Frontier Foundation confirmed XCP on this title in November 2005.[5] Wikipedia's list of XCP discs pairs this UPC with CK 94581, next to the Target and Wal-Mart editions.[6] Bassist Tim Foreman posted a work-around on the band's message boards, and the album was caught up in Sony BMG's recall of affected CDs.[2]

eBay listing[1] sourced
- Listing observed
US eBay listing titled "Nothing Is Sound by Switchfoot (CD, Sep-2005, Columbia (USA)) 827969458129", read through a web search (the page refuses the server); a 2005 release, so second-hand trade; no price or condition read. Release country US per ^musicbrainz and ^discogs-us
A listing is evidence that this barcode is sold there, on that date; a price is what that listing showed, not a recommended price.

Coverage measures the evidence recorded here. It does not rate the product.
- Identity: 3 / 3 · Name, brand and classification recorded
- Release details: 5 / 5 · Profile fields recorded: artists, label, media, released, catalogue_number. Missing fields may require research or an applicability note.
- tracks evidence: 12 / 12 · Recorded rows linked to source evidence; does not measure whether the list is complete
- Context: 1 / 1 · Evidence groups assigned to a researched label, edition or analysis
- Label photographs: 0 / 1 · Researched contexts with an assigned photograph
- Specifications: 0 / 4 · Recorded specifications mapped to comparable property keys
- images · unknown: No licensed cover photograph found; not on Open Food Facts; Cover Art Archive licence for the MusicBrainz release not checked
- identity · disputed: MusicBrainz and Discogs label CK 94581 a Wal-Mart exclusive, but Discogs gives that note to CK 96534 and marks CK 96437 as the Target exclusive; Wikipedia's XCP list names all three catalogue numbers with separate UPCs, so CK 94581 is probably the standard edition
- media · disputed: Running time: the MusicBrainz track lengths sum to 50:58; Wikipedia gives 50:54
- relationships · unknown: No source names the GS1 registrant of prefix 0827969; the gs1_prefix_owner edge is derived from the © and ℗ holder
- markets · unknown: Retailer pages printing the barcode (eBay, daddykool) refuse the server; no dated price read
- identity · not_researched: Whether this barcode was among the discs Sony BMG recalled and exchanged, and for how long it stayed on sale; status discontinued rests on the recall reported in ^wiki-album
- images · not_researched: No product photographs recorded.
- schema · schema_gap: Some specifications retain source labels without comparable property keys.
