Columbia Records is an American record label owned by Sony Music Entertainment, part of Sony Music Group under Sony Group Corporation. Founded on 15 January 1889 as the Columbia Phonograph Company, it is the oldest surviving brand name in recorded sound and one of Sony Music's four flagship labels with Epic, RCA and Arista.[1] Its imprint appears on releases such as the US CD soundtrack to Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle (CK 90132).[2]
