About this product

This is the 25th Anniversary Legacy Edition of London Calling, the third studio album by the English rock band the Clash, released in the United States on 21 September 2004 as two CDs and a DVD in a Digipak, catalogue number E3K 92923.[2] The first disc is the remastered album; the second, The Vanilla Tapes, holds 21 rehearsal recordings from mid-1979 that Mick Jones rediscovered in 2004; the DVD carries Don Letts's film The Last Testament: The Making of London Calling.[3] Discogs credits the Epic and Legacy labels, ℗ and © Sony Music Entertainment (UK) Ltd. and glass mastering at DADC.[1]

More about this product

The album first appeared as a double LP in the United Kingdom on 14 December 1979 on CBS Records and in North America in January 1980 on Epic.[3] A later US repress under the same barcode was pressed at Sony DADC, Pitman.[4] The old Barcodepedia page, captured in March 2007, listed this barcode as the audio CD London Calling.[5]

Where it's sold

🇺🇸 United States

Discogs release 326577[1] sourced

Discogs and MusicBrainz (^musicbrainz) give release country US and release date 21 September 2004 for this barcode; the DVD is NTSC. No dated retail listing with a price could be fetched (an eBay second-hand listing refuses the server)

A listing is evidence that this barcode is sold there, on that date; a price is what that listing showed, not a recommended price.

Coverage & research gaps (8)

Coverage measures the evidence recorded here. It does not rate the product.

  • Identity: 3 / 3 · Name, brand and classification recorded
  • Release details: 5 / 5 · Profile fields recorded: artists, label, media, released, catalogue_number. Missing fields may require research or an applicability note.
  • tracks evidence: 45 / 45 · Recorded rows linked to source evidence; does not measure whether the list is complete
  • contents evidence: 5 / 5 · Recorded rows linked to source evidence; does not measure whether the list is complete

  • Label photographs: 0 / 1 · Researched contexts with an assigned photograph
  • Specifications: 0 / 6 · Recorded specifications mapped to comparable property keys
  • images · unknown: No photo of this pack was read; a Cover Art Archive front cover is requested with the result
  • markets · unknown: No dated retail listing with a price could be fetched (eBay and an Argentine import listing refuse the server), so neither current availability nor a last_seen date is recorded
  • schema · schema_gap: Release media has no value for a mixed CD and DVD set; media is set to other and the discs are itemised in Contents

  • evidence · not_applicable: The 2007 Barcodepedia page says the item was produced in Italy by an unknown producer; that line was generated, not researched, and is not used
  • evidence · unknown: Evidence observation date is not recorded.
  • schema · schema_gap: Review and assign legacy facts to coherent observations.
  • schema · schema_gap: Some specifications retain source labels without comparable property keys.
