About

London Calling is the third studio album by the English rock band the Clash. It was released as a double album in the United Kingdom on 14 December 1979 by CBS Records and in the United States and Canada in January 1980 by Epic Records, after recording with producer Guy Stevens at Wessex Sound Studios in London from August 1979. It has sold over five million copies worldwide and was ranked number 8 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2003 and 2012. In 2004 a 25th-anniversary Legacy Edition added The Vanilla Tapes and a DVD.[1] Discogs files the album's editions under one master release.[2]
