Asahi Beverages Pty Ltd is the Australian drinks company of Japan's Asahi Group, registered since 22 May 1946 and run from Southbank in Melbourne.^[1] Asahi Group Holdings lists it as the Asia Pacific regional headquarters above Carlton & United Breweries, Asahi Lifestyle Beverage and Asahi Beverages New Zealand.^[2] Its Australian line-up names Schweppes, Solo, Cool Ridge, Cottee's and Spring Valley as its own brands, and Pepsi, Gatorade, Lipton, T2 Iced Tea and Sunkist as brands it manufactures and distributes under licence.^[3]

The company was named Associated Home Delivery Pty. Ltd. until 27 January 2009, then Schweppes Australia Pty Limited until 6 October 2017, when it took its present name; it still holds Schweppes Australia, Spring Valley Beverages and Asahi Lifestyle Beverages among its registered business names.^[4] The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Asahi Holdings (Australia) Pty Ltd, the private parent of the group's Australian companies, which is itself wholly owned by the Tokyo-listed Asahi Group Holdings; both joint modern slavery statements for 2024 and 2025 list it among the reporting subsidiaries.^[5][6] It counts about 4,200 employees and more than 50 manufacturing and distribution centres across Australia and New Zealand.^[3] The group entered Oceania in April 2009 by acquiring all the shares of Schweppes Australia from Cadbury, a business it places today under Asahi Holdings (Australia).^[7] Schweppes is this company's brand in Australia alone: the trademark is split by territory, and Coca-Cola, Suntory and Keurig Dr Pepper hold it elsewhere.^[8]
