Franz Ferdinand is the debut studio album by the Scottish indie rock band Franz Ferdinand, first released on 9 February 2004 through the Domino Recording Company; it won the 2004 Mercury Music Prize.[3] This barcode is its North American CD, catalogue number EK 92441 in a jewel case, which MusicBrainz dates to 20 April 2004 in the United States.[4] The US disc carries the Domino label and reads "Manufactured by Epic, a division of Sony Music", with © 2004 Domino Recording Co Ltd and ℗ 2004 Sony Music Entertainment Inc.; Discogs lists DADC pressings.[5] A Canadian edition with the same barcode credits Epic, with Sony Music Entertainment (Canada) Inc. as manufacturer and distributor.[2]
