Different sources or national labels can coexist. Differences alone do not establish a change to the product.
- Italian block supported · Compare evidence
The only block that prints a full ingredient list with the wheat origin statements; it warns about soy alone, not soy and mustard
- German-language block for AT, BE, DE and LU supported · Compare evidence
Prints the legal denomination and the allergen warning but no ingredient list; country ovals AT BE DE LU
- French-language block for BE, FR and LU supported · Compare evidence
Denomination and allergen warning only; country ovals BE FR LU
- English-language block for GB, IE and MT supported · Compare evidence
Denomination, allergen warning and the British importer; country ovals GB IE MT
- Croatian and Serbian block for HR, RS, BA and ME supported · Compare evidence
The richest block: it names the producer, the four national importers and the plant-letter key that decides the country of origin, and it is the only one to mention egg traces
- Export block for AU, NZ, SG, MY, HK and IN supported · Compare evidence
Carries four separate nutrition panels, six importer addresses, a halal mark, an FSSAI licence and the words made in Italy; lists semolina without water
- Vietnamese importer sticker supported · selected
A white sticker applied over the printed box, with its own energy value and a tolerance of plus or minus 15 per cent, the importer and a self-declaration number
- Multilingual European nutrition declaration supported · Compare evidence
One table in 26 languages shared by all the European language blocks; salt is printed as 0,01 with no less-than sign
- Spanish and Portuguese block for South America unconfirmed · Compare evidence
A low-resolution rotated photo shows a Uruguayan importer, a Brazilian importer and two further nutrition tables; only the producer line was legible, so nothing is transcribed from it and no market is claimed
- Dutch ingredient statement, source unclear unconfirmed · Compare evidence
Filed on Open Food Facts as an ingredients photo, but it is a screenshot of typed text on white, not a photograph of the box, so it is not treated as printed evidence
- Evidence awaiting context review unconfirmed · Compare evidence

About this product
Barilla Spaghetti n. 5 is the brand's standard long spaghetti, sold in a 500 g cardboard box under EAN 8076800195057. The pasta is durum wheat semolina and water: the Italian block prints "Ingredienti: semola di grano duro, acqua" together with Italy as the country where the wheat is grown and milled, while the export block sold across Asia and Australasia lists semolina alone.[5] One barcode carries many labels, each with its own allergen wording and nutrition table: country ovals for AT, BE, DE and LU, for BE, FR and LU, for GB, IE and MT, and for HR, SRB, BIH and MNE, beside an export panel for AU, NZ, SG, MY, HK and IN.[5] The producer printed on the pack is Barilla G. e R. Fratelli Società per Azioni of Via Mantova 166, Parma.[5]
More about this product
Barilla Group was founded in Parma in 1877 and is the world's largest pasta producer, running thirty plants, half of them in Italy.[6] Where a given box was made is not fixed: the Croatian block prints a key mapping the plant letter beside the best-before date to a country, Italy for (A), (F), (E) and (AB) and Greece for (GG), which is why Open Food Facts has recorded both countries for this barcode; the photographed box carries (F).[5] The Italian front promises al dente in nine minutes and 100% Italian wheat, while the German-language and export boxes print a ten-minute cooking time.[5] The British block names Euro Food Brands of Northampton as importer, a company incorporated in 1991.[7]

Coverage measures the evidence recorded here. It does not rate the product.
- Identity: 3 / 3 · Name, brand and classification recorded
- Context: 10 / 11 · Evidence groups assigned to a researched label, edition or analysis
- Label photographs: 0 / 10 · Researched contexts with an assigned photograph
- Export block for AU, NZ, SG, MY, HK and IN: nutrient evidence: 38 / 38 · Recorded nutrient rows linked to a source; not the number of nutrients that ought to exist
- Vietnamese importer sticker: nutrient evidence: 3 / 3 · Recorded nutrient rows linked to a source; not the number of nutrients that ought to exist
- Multilingual European nutrition declaration: nutrient evidence: 9 / 9 · Recorded nutrient rows linked to a source; not the number of nutrients that ought to exist
- identity · disputed: Country of origin is not fixed for this barcode: the Croatian block maps the plant letter printed beside the best-before date to a country, giving Italy for A, F, E and AB and Greece for GG, so IT and GR are both recorded
- markets · unknown: A Uruguayan importer and a Brazilian importer appear on a rotated low-resolution photo; the addresses could not be read with confidence, so UY and BR are not claimed as markets and no stub was created
- relationships · not_researched: The Vietnamese importer is printed as CONG TY TNHH Thuc pham AN NAM; no company stub was created because the trading name could not be rendered without guessing at its romanised form
- nutrition · disputed: Five printed energy figures coexist for one barcode: 1521 kJ and 359 kcal in Europe, 1520 kJ and 364 Cal in Australasia, 353 kcal for India, Hong Kong and South-East Asia, and 363,5 kcal on the Vietnamese sticker
- nutrition · unknown: The Hong Kong and South-East Asia tables are only partly legible at the resolution available; the missing rows are recorded as not researched rather than as zero
- images · stale: The page holds one photo per kind, while Open Food Facts carries 108 uploads covering at least eleven national labels; the national label photographs behind this review are not copied into the page
- evidence · disputed: The Dutch statement filed as an ingredients photo is a screenshot of typed text rather than a photograph of the box, and it is the only source that mentions egg traces for a western European market
- markets · not_researched: Australian and Dutch retail listings could not be used: Coles and Makro answered with empty JavaScript shells, and Jumbo prints the barcode only in a photo file name
