About this product
Boy, Interrupted is the debut album of Harpoon Missile, a hip-hop group from Brampton, Ontario, built around MC Harpoon and producer Rahmel.[2][3] This barcode is the Canadian compact disc, released in 2002 by the independent label Linus Entertainment as catalogue number 2 70005 and distributed by Warner Music Canada.[4][5] The twelve-track disc was pressed by Cinram and its sleeve reads "Made In Canada".[4] The album takes its name from the film Girl, Interrupted, and "I Try" features the singer Melanie Durrant.[3][2]
More about this product
RapReviews noted that the group had been together for eleven years before this debut, while Exclaim! found the record hit and miss in May 2002.[3][2] A European CD followed in 2003 under its own barcode.[6][7] Linus Entertainment, founded by Geoff Kulawick, was acquired by Round Hill Music in August 2023.[8][9]

Coverage measures the evidence recorded here. It does not rate the product.
- Identity: 3 / 3 · Name, brand and classification recorded
- Release details: 5 / 5 · Profile fields recorded: artists, label, media, released, catalogue_number. Missing fields may require research or an applicability note.
- tracks evidence: 12 / 12 · Recorded rows linked to source evidence; does not measure whether the list is complete
- Context: 1 / 1 · Evidence groups assigned to a researched label, edition or analysis
- Label photographs: 0 / 1 · Researched contexts with an assigned photograph
- Specifications: 1 / 18 · Recorded specifications mapped to comparable property keys
- images · unknown: No licensed photograph of the sleeve is held here and the barcode is not on Open Food Facts; Discogs cover images are not licensed for reuse, so the page asks the community for one
- media · disputed: Track times differ between Discogs and MusicBrainz for tracks 2 (2:21 against 2:12), 3 (5:04 against 5:05) and 12 (3:20 against 3:22)
- markets · not_researched: eBay listings found by a web search print this barcode as a new CD, but they were not fetched and their seller countries are unknown, so no market beyond Canada is listed
- identity · unknown: No source states whether the disc is still in print; the only current retail listing is sold out, so status is left blank
- packaging · not_researched: The case type (jewel case or other) is not stated by any source read
- relationships · unknown: No public source names the GS1 registrant of prefix 0803057; the owner is derived from the copyright line and from two other Linus releases in the same number sequence. company/linus-entertainment was created by another agent during this run without gs1_prefixes, and a discover pass cannot add the prefix to an existing stub
- evidence · disputed: The 2007 Barcodepedia page titled this barcode "Boy, Interrupted (Import)" and said "Produced in Italy by unknown producer"; that line was generated from the barcode and is wrong, as 080 is a GS1 US and Canada prefix and the sleeve reads Made In Canada
- images · not_researched: No product photographs recorded.
- schema · schema_gap: Some specifications retain source labels without comparable property keys.
