About

Linus Entertainment is a Canadian independent record label, distributor and music publisher founded by Geoff Kulawick; it started in Mississauga, spent many years in Burlington and moved to Waterdown in Hamilton, Ontario.^[1] Its catalogues include True North Records, Stony Plain Records, Solid Gold Records and The Children's Group, and in August 2023 Round Hill Music acquired the company together with the distributor Independent Digital Licensing Agency.^[2] Wikipedia and Discogs give 2001 as the founding year, while Music Business Worldwide gives 2000.^[3] MusicBrainz records the legal name Linus Entertainment Inc. as the holding behind the imprint.^[4]
