About this product
Kellogg's Corn Flakes 360 g is a carton of toasted maize flakes signed with the Kellogg's script logo and the green cockerel, carrying the line "The Original Since 1906", a front flash of 1604 kJ / 378 kcal per 100 g and an x12 icon for twelve 30 g servings.[2] One side panel serves seven markets at once, and each language block is headed by its own country badge: (DE) (A) (CH) above the German text, then (SE), (FI), (DK), (NO) and a second (CH) above the French one.[1] The declaration is the same in every block and has four ingredients, maize, sugar, barley malt and salt, with the barley set in bold as the allergen; the Swiss French text calls the malt "arôme de malt d'orge".[1] The panel prints both a per-100 g and a per-30 g column, the serving being 481 kJ / 113 kcal, six per cent of an adult's reference intake.[3]
More about this product
Because the French block is badged for Switzerland and no English block appears anywhere on the carton, the Open Food Facts tags for France and the United Kingdom are not followed here.[1][4] A photograph of the 2020 carton shows the same badges, the same list and the same figures, along with national consumer-service telephone numbers and a responsibly-sourced-corn address for each country, so the artwork has been stable for at least five years.[5] Amazon.de carries a listing for this barcode and its 360 g pack, though it shows the article as currently unavailable.[6]
Corn flakes were developed at the Battle Creek Sanitarium in Michigan from 1894, and a patent for flaked cereals was issued to John Harvey Kellogg in 1896.[7] His brother W. K. Kellogg founded the Battle Creek Toasted Corn Flake Company on 19 February 1906; it took the name Kellogg Company in 1922.[8] In October 2023 the company renamed itself Kellanova and spun off its North American cereal business as WK Kellogg Co, which Ferrero bought in 2025; Kellanova, which kept the Kellogg's cereals outside North America, was acquired by Mars in the same year.[8][9]

- markets · unknown: Open Food Facts tags this barcode France and the United Kingdom. The pack carries no English block at all, and its French block is badged (CH), so the French text is Swiss. Neither tag is followed, now on the evidence of the badges rather than inference
- relationships · unknown: No operator or address block is legible on any photographed surface, so no food_business_operator is recorded. Kellogg (Deutschland) GmbH of Hamburg, HRB 135972, is named as Inverkehrbringer only on myTime's listing of a different 500 g carton
- identity · unknown: country_of_origin is left empty: no photographed surface states where the carton was filled
- evidence · stale: The MPREIS page cited by the previous version as a 375 g article under GTIN 05059319014739 now serves a 500 g carton with an English-language ingredient list, so that citation has drifted and is kept only as context for a different article
- nutrition · unknown: Open Food Facts types the energy as 1583 kJ, a conversion of 378 kcal rather than the printed 1604 kJ. The printed value is kept and the discrepancy recorded on the value
- evidence · stale: Evidence was observed over a year ago; check for newer labels. Historical evidence remains valid.
