Kellanova is an American multinational food manufacturer headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, and owned by Mars Inc.[1] It took the name Kellanova on 2 October 2023, when the Kellogg Company split and its North American cereal operations were spun off as WK Kellogg Co; the name combines "Kell" with the Latin nova.[1] The remaining company kept the snack brands, among them Pringles, Pop-Tarts, Cheez-It and Rice Krispies Treats, together with the international cereal business, and markets in over 180 countries.[1] Mars agreed in August 2024 to buy Kellanova for nearly 30 billion dollars and completed the acquisition on 11 December 2025.[1] Its European headquarters is in Dublin and its largest factory is at Trafford Park in Greater Manchester.[1]
