Gut & Günstig Frühstücksbrötchen are six part-baked wheat rolls of 50 g each in a 300 g bag, finished in the oven in 8 to 10 minutes and sold under EDEKA's own-label brand Gut & Günstig.[2][3] The bag names EDEKA ZENTRALE Stiftung & Co. KG in Hamburg as operator but no bakery.[2] The dough is wheat flour, water, yeast and iodised salt with a baking agent of dextrose, the emulsifier E472e, wheat flour and rapeseed oil, plus sodium acetates, and the current bag carries the V-Label vegan mark and Nutri-Score B.[2] German price-comparison sites list the barcode and EDEKA prices.[1][4]

The 2020 red bag, carrying a DLG silver award for 2019, printed the same recipe with 1.2 g salt per 100 g against 1.0 g on the 2023 clear bag.[5][2] The barcode was already on the 2006-2013 Barcodepedia as "Brötchen", six rolls to finish baking.[6]
