Iodised salt is table salt mixed with a minute amount of an iodine salt, potassium iodate, potassium iodide, sodium iodate or sodium iodide, to prevent iodine deficiency.[1] German labels declare it as jodiertes Speisesalz, as on Gut & Günstig Frühstücksbrötchen, where it is salt with potassium iodate.[2]
