About this product

duplo 18.2 g is the single bar of Ferrero's duplo, a milk chocolate bar filled with wafer (7 %) and nougat cream (17 %).[2] Ferrero Deutschland in Frankfurt am Main created duplo in 1964,[3][4] and since 1989 German advertising has called it "die wahrscheinlich längste Praline der Welt", probably the longest praline in the world.[3][5] A bar weighs 18.2 g and is 11.25 cm long.[5] The German wrapper photographed in 2025 lists 49.5 % milk chocolate and 5.5 % hazelnuts. It no longer lists the protein-enriched whey powder that wrappers photographed in 2022 and 2024 showed.[2][6][7] The German hypermarket chain Globus lists the bar.[1]

More about this product

Ferrero sells a different bar under the same name, with white chocolate, in Italy, France, Greece and the Czech Republic; in Germany that bar is called duplo Chocnut.[5] The German Barcodepedia page for this EAN-8, archived in 2010, recorded only the name Duplo.[8]
