About
Wheat starch is the starch fraction separated from wheat flour, used in extruded snacks to bind the dough. It carries the cereal allergen: the Polish label for Pringles Original declares "skrobia pszenna" and states "Zawiera: pszenica", that is, contains wheat.[1] Wikipedia describes Pringles as made from dried potatoes with wheat starch and corn and rice flours making up the remainder.[2]
