About this product

Explosive: The Best of Bond is a 2005 compilation by bond, the Australian and British string quartet known for classical crossover and synth-pop.[2] This barcode is the US DualDisc edition on Decca, catalogue number B0004748-82, released on 28 June 2005: one side plays the 12-track CD album, the other is a DVD-Video side with the album in Dolby Digital surround and PCM stereo, three music videos, a photo gallery and a discography.[1][3] The compilation includes three previously unreleased pieces.[4] Discogs credits Decca Music Group Limited as copyright holder, Universal Classics Group as manufacturer and marketer, and Universal Music & Video Distribution, Corp. as distributor.[1]

More about this product

The album also appeared in Europe as a CD (475 7025) and as a CD with DVD (475 7002), each under its own barcode.[5][6] The 2007 Barcodepedia page for this barcode described it as an audio CD titled "Explosive: The Best of Bond", with data from Amazon.com.[7]

Where it's sold

🇺🇸 United States

Discogs release 8091967[1] sourced

Listing observed

US release of 28 June 2005 carrying this barcode (scanned and printed forms), with a US distributor credit (Universal Music & Video Distribution, Corp.); a catalogue record, not a retail listing

Amazon.com[8] derived

Listing observed

Amazon.com listing "Explosive: The Best Of Bond Dual Disc" by Bond, offered new and used by third-party sellers; matches title and DualDisc format but prints no barcode or price in the page read, and a US club edition and a 475 702-5 DualDisc also exist, so the listing may be one of those

A listing is evidence that this barcode is sold there, on that date; a price is what that listing showed, not a recommended price.

Coverage & research gaps (13)

Coverage measures the evidence recorded here. It does not rate the product.

  • Identity: 3 / 3 · Name, brand and classification recorded
  • Release details: 5 / 5 · Profile fields recorded: artists, label, media, released, catalogue_number. Missing fields may require research or an applicability note.
  • tracks evidence: 32 / 32 · Recorded rows linked to source evidence; does not measure whether the list is complete
  • Context: 1 / 2 · Evidence groups assigned to a researched label, edition or analysis
  • Label photographs: 0 / 1 · Researched contexts with an assigned photograph
  • Specifications: 0 / 7 · Recorded specifications mapped to comparable property keys
  • relationships · unknown: No source names the GS1 registrant of prefix 0028947; Discogs names UMG Recordings, Inc. only as licensor, so gs1_prefix_owner is omitted
  • identity · disputed: Discogs holds a second US DualDisc under catalogue number 475 702-5 (release 516874) with no barcode recorded; it may be this article under another catalogue number and was not merged
  • identity · not_applicable: The BMG Direct club edition shares catalogue number B0004748-82 but carries its own Code 39 barcode D161906 and is a different article
  • media · disputed: MusicBrainz models the DualDisc as two media (12 CD-side tracks and 40 DVD-side items, listing surround and stereo mixes separately); Discogs lists one hybrid disc with 20 DVD-side items; discs is 1 per the Discogs format quantity and Tracks follows Discogs for the DVD side
  • media · disputed: CD-side durations differ by up to six seconds between MusicBrainz and Discogs (Wintersun 3:27 against 3:21); Tracks keeps MusicBrainz timings and notes the Discogs figure
  • schema · schema_gap: Release media has no DualDisc value; media is set to other and the format is kept in Specifications and edition
  • markets · unknown: Glitter Records lists a used VG+ copy printing this barcode at EUR 9.95, sold out; the shop's country is unclear (.com.au domain, euro prices), so no Markets row was added
  • markets · not_researched: No new-stock retail listing printing this barcode was found; status and last_seen are left blank
  • packaging · not_researched: Case type (jewel case, digipak or other) is not stated by any source read
  • evidence · not_researched: Writers and composers per track were not taken from a source and are left blank
  • evidence · unknown: Evidence observation date is not recorded.
  • schema · schema_gap: Review and assign legacy facts to coherent observations.
  • schema · schema_gap: Some specifications retain source labels without comparable property keys.
