Mountain Dew Code Red Zero Sugar is the sugar-free version of PepsiCo's cherry-flavoured Mountain Dew extension, and this barcode is its 12 fl oz single-serve can for the United States.[1] PepsiCo sold the same UPC as Diet Mountain Dew Code Red until 2022, when the diet line was renamed Zero Sugar: the SmartLabel page for this article was retired under its old title and reissued the same day as "Mountain Dew, Zero Sugar, Code Red".[2][3][4] PepsiCo states 68 mg of caffeine and no phosphorus per can.[1] The only ingredient statement on file is USDA's 2018 capture of the earlier Diet label, sweetened with aspartame and acesulfame potassium and coloured with Red 40, Yellow 5 and Blue 1.[5]
