Trebor Bassett Limited is the British confectionery company that started the Trebor mint brand and still carries it inside the Mondelez International group. Companies House holds it under number 00091528, incorporated on 4 January 1907 as Trebor Sharps Limited, renamed Trebor Limited on 31 December 1978 and Trebor Bassett Limited on 1 March 1990, with its registered office at Cadbury House in Uxbridge and a SIC code for the manufacture of cocoa and chocolate confectionery.[1] Its registered shareholder is Kraft Foods Investment Holdings UK Limited, notified as a person with significant control on 5 August 2026 in place of The Old Leo Company Limited, which had held that position since 6 April 2016.[2] Exhibit 21 to Mondelez International's 2025 Form 10-K lists Trebor Bassett Limited among the registrant's United Kingdom subsidiaries.[3]
The name dates from the Cadbury Schweppes takeover: Cadbury bought Trebor on 14 September 1989 and merged it with Bassett's, and from 1 March 1990 the business traded as Trebor Bassett.[4]
