Sony Corporation of America (SCA, also SONAM) is the American arm of Sony Group Corporation and manages Sony's business in the United States; its principal US businesses are Sony Corporation, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Sony Music Group and Sony Pictures Entertainment. It was founded on 8 February 1960 and is headquartered in New York City.[1] Sony Group Corporation's Form 20-F gives its address as 25 Madison Avenue, 26th Floor, New York, NY 10010-8601, names it the group's agent in the United States, and consolidates its figures with those of its own subsidiaries.[2] Among those subsidiaries is Sony DADC, the Terre Haute disc manufacturer, for which Wikipedia and Wikidata name Sony Corporation of America as the parent.[3] This page is a stub created so that ownership can be stated as a relation; its own subsidiary list, register numbers and website are not yet sourced here.
