Cobega, S.A. is the Barcelona holding company through which four branches of the Daurella family hold their drinks and food interests, run from Esplugues de Llobregat and on the Barcelona register since 10 August 1951 with a share capital of 34,846,760 euros.^[1] Coca-Cola Europacific Partners' 2025 annual report and Form 20-F states that Cobega indirectly owns 57.5 % of Olive Partners, S.A., CCEP's largest shareholder and its controlling shareholder under the UK Listing Rules.^[2] Its largest single shareholder is Begindau, S.L., the holding company of CCEP chairman Sol Daurella, with 34.95 % of the capital.^[3] Beyond that stake the group bottles Coca-Cola in the Maghreb and West Africa and runs Nespresso boutiques, Domino's Pizza restaurants and a packaging-plastics business.^[4][5]

Santiago Daurella Rull, a Barcelona cod importer who also made carbonated drinks, took the first Coca-Cola bottling concession granted in Spain, for Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, and Comercial de Bebidas Gaseosas — Cobega — was constituted in Barcelona in 1951; after his death in 1974 the business passed to his four children, from whom the four family branches descend.^[5][6] Those branches hold the company as Daurella Comadrán 34 %, Daurella Aguilera 32 %, Líbano Daurella 16 % and Figueras-Dotti Daurella 16 %, and its sixteen-seat board is drawn from all four; Sol Daurella Comadrán is chairman and chief executive of Cobega as well as chairman of CCEP, and her cousin Alfonso Líbano Daurella is vice-chairman and a member of the executive committee.^[6] The Spanish bottling business went into Coca-Cola Iberian Partners when eight Spanish bottlers merged, and from there into Coca-Cola European Partners in 2016 together with Coca-Cola Enterprises and the German bottler, the group that became Coca-Cola Europacific Partners after it bought Coca-Cola Amatil and the Philippine bottler.^[6] Cobega sells directly in about a dozen countries of the Maghreb and West Africa through a network of some 250,000 outlets, where two thirds of its staff work; it reported sales of 1.23 billion euros and a profit of 297 million for 2022, its second-best year after the 2.03 billion of 2016, when the European merger released the gain, and paid a dividend of 236 million.^[5] Cobega, S.A. is the sole shareholder of Cobega Invest, S.L., the group investment holding registered at the same address in Esplugues de Llobregat.^[7]
