Britvic Limited is the British soft drinks business that makes, markets and sells 39 brands sold in more than 100 countries, producing in Great Britain, Brazil, France and Ireland; it says it was founded in England in the 1930s and that it is part of the Carlsberg Group.[1] Companies House registers the present legal entity at Breakspear Park, Hemel Hempstead, under number 05604923, incorporated on 27 October 2005 as Britannia SD Holdings Limited, named Britvic plc from 21 November 2005 and re-registered as Britvic Limited on 1 April 2025, with manufacture of soft drinks as its principal activity.[2] Its only active person with significant control is Carlsberg UK Holdings Limited of Wolverhampton, notified on 20 January 2025 with 75% or more of the shares.[3] In Great Britain it makes and sells Mountain Dew, which it says first entered the UK market in 2010 and which it now ranges as Mountain Dew and Mountain Dew No Sugar, alongside Robinsons, Teisseire and, under an exclusive licence from PepsiCo, Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Rockstar Energy and Lipton Ice Tea.[4][1]
