About Deltasonic

Deltasonic is a record label based in Liverpool, formed by Alan Wills, former drummer with Shack, after his first label EVA; the name joins the Delta blues and Sonic Youth.[1] The discovery of the Coral prompted the label, and its first single was by them; later signings included the Zutons, the Dead 60s and the Rascals.[1] Sony originally owned 49 per cent of Deltasonic under a joint venture and distributed and marketed its releases worldwide; the label has since become independent.[1] Deltasonic Records Limited, company 03957409, was incorporated as EVA Records Limited on 27 March 2000 and took its present name on 22 February 2001.[2]
