Its own description calls it the publisher dedicated to the information needs of technology professionals, developers and enthusiasts worldwide, with a list of more than 3,000 titles covering big data, databases, open source, web development, Java, Python, Apple and Swift as well as its long-running Microsoft and .NET line, and editorial staff in the United States, the United Kingdom and Pune, India.[1] Since apress.com moved to Springer Nature Link, the imprint's catalogue is served from link.springer.com, where Apress appears as one of the group's book brands.[1] It signed the 2009 first edition of Learn Objective-C on the Mac.[2]
